So I took her to the dyno
So here is our setup

Sr20ve with sr16 cams
Garrett turbo t4 .81(exhaust) cheap rwd tubular manifold
50mm wastegate
Stinger 4424 ems
1200cc injectors
aeromotive 320 lph fuel pump

Car made 316@9lbs and 366@12lbs...next up we are planning to go e85@15lbs hoping for 420hp or so..let me know what you think of those numbers.

Here is a pic of the setup

Pretty nice start. Ran short on time or something thT you stopped? Setup seems to be working well.

Yes we ran out of time....there were a few more pulls done after this one with a much smoother curve but the boost is not holding all the way to redline...it holds 12lbs to about 7k then starts to fall off before it gets to 8k...not sure if its because we are running just the wastegate with no boost controller...there is more power to be made on 12lbs once we get that sorted out

Yeah, the taper is because of no boost controller.

Simple setup. Nice to see someone else using the same manifold I used with good results on my old 60 trim DE setup. People hated but it was cheap and it worked much better than a log manifold would have. I rewelded my wastegate flange and added a brace and never had an issue after that.

Cant wait to see some more numbers from it.

Stock bottom end with ve-t metal headgasket...I am not sure of the turbo specs I bought it off ebay. The selller had it listed as a garrett t3 when it came to my house it was a t4 so we decided to build our setup around the turbo. We are running sr16 cams. I would really love to crank the boost up but, 15lbs on e-85 is the most I am going to run on the stock bottom end..I am pretty sure we will hit atleast 380whp@12psi once we get the boost to hold to 8k.

I like the setup, good numbers...... especially with the boost tapering off at the top end. These are the kind of numbers people should be making with ve+t setups. Granted that is a pretty large turbo but people can make these kind of numbers on a stock ve if they plan ahead and buy parts that complement each other. That and tuning are the most important aspects of boosting a ve. When do you see full boost with that turbo?
