i have a SR20DE+T w/stock pistons w/370cc injectors, 300zx maf, JWT S3 cams, JWT ecu & the extras are aluminum damper pully & a 9 lbs fidanza flywheel & the turbo i had on since i sold it was a RB26 T28 w/T25 exhaust housing at 10psi(boost) but it dropped to 7psi after a sec, and my hp goal at 10psi with one of those turbos would be atleast 255hp & later when i get DET pistons at 16 psi atleast 310-320hp

The GT28R wouldnt be any better than your GTR Turbo.

Just get the GT2871R Perfect for both a +t and a DET/DET Piston set up.

Ball bearing meaning good spool time and decent sized housing for good mid and top end

GTiR T28 is lagy, it's way too laggy imo. I was going to find a .6x AR housing, but decided just to go with a disco (2860r). Hopefully will be as responsive as t25

Agreed, I'm actually enjoying T25 at 200whp more then GTiR T28 on VE with 230-250whp.

Unless you plan on going above 250whp T25 is hard to beat on responsiveness.

I would hardly call the GTiR turbo laggy, hes running S3's so would spool up nicely.

If you call full boost by 2800rpm laggy and want boost at idle then get a supercharger

had a gt25rs something or other ball bearing for a while...nasty little bugger. good for 320 hp maxed out or so. 300zx upgrade turbos. for a dd beater car, its perfect i think, out of all my setups. currently have a t2 flanged greddy 18g externally wastegated. SCREW everything else. more power, less spoolup time. as far as 400hp plus turbos go, this is the way to go. t25s and t28s have their place, but honestly, the nissan community has a warped concept of value for the money, think t28s are worth well over 500 bucks, and their worn out factory turbos available most times. i bought my 18g for 300 bucks, had it rebuilt and reballanced for another 150. off topic rambleing i guess.....but once youve driven a 18g powered sr20, you understand REAL quick. ive completely written off t28s at this point.
