any expierence with tial knock off bovs?
i recently had a guy interested intrading his tial nock off for my greddy typs s plus cash, and the only reason why i am interested in trading is the greddy type S NEVER likes to work, adjusting it is a PITA, i normally dont go with cheap stuff, butthe greddy type s is driving me crazy are they any good?

I know that the knock-off bov's have a cheaper diaphragm design (cheap rubber) and do not last as long. I have heard successful stories, but they were on hondas and blew their cars up before really seeing how long the bov endured.

My lord, you have an AEM EMS and you want to put a Tial knock off on it? Dude, go get the tial BOV or go get a forge or sard unit.

funny ive had a 1Gdsm Crushed BOV , never a problem, switched it to a Blitzz Oldschool trumpet and never had a problem. ( 5 yrs now)

Wanted a greddy type S but then realized how many people have one ,

I have a HKS racing BOV siting in my closet but problem is if i were to put it on i would need a greddy /HKS mounting flange.

I would stay clear of those knockoffs , you are asking for trouble.
you read it yourself what happend to the ricer honda boys with em,.

yeah, the best thing about the greddy type s is the sound i think, its really unique, and not only that but they are now discontinued and even tho, they are a PITA to adjust, and i might just hve to adjust it even farher to get it to actually work right, they are getting harde to find and the price of them are staying pretty high around 180-200 but i think that the greddy type s out of the s and rs is the best and now its discontinued
