Used DET - low compression
So my brother (MercerSX) had bought a used DET from a guy that said the motor had low compression and wasn't running right so he pulled the motor. We are planning on putting it in his B13. We pulled the valve cover off and noticed a valve stuck open so we figured it had a bent valve. So we pulled the head off earlier tonight ad this is what we found...

The rest of the engine looks good. The piston has some small Knicks in it but nothing to bad.

That screw is actually about 3 inches long if you see it in person! I can't see how it wiggled itself down in there.
