was wonder what some of you guys used to shave a bit of your block to make the 18g fit?

yes, aviner, bluebird will require shaving the block even if your running a gtir t28.

I currently have a disco, not sure if serban had to shave the block to get it to fit, could I use a file, or a dremel tool?

correct the using the avenir manifold with teh greddy 18g you need you need to shave the block but its not hard i had this set up for about 4 years and it pulls wicked hard if you type alloutmotor g20 on youtube youll see some videos of it on low boost

Go to harbor freight and get a 4" rotary grinder tool. Put the roughest sand paper rotor you can fond on there and go to work. Youg gonna have to shave down the lil freeze plug or whatever the hell it is damn near flush with the block. Took me about 15 minutes with the motor out of the car. When I did my first DET it was in the car. It took about 30 mins. Not hard

i used a right angle grinder with a flapper wheel or a grinding wheel, when i had no grinder i used a one of those hacksaw blades with the tiny handle, for me i had to shave where theres a lil allen head thingy at a angle sort of, you will see exactly where, it literally takes 2 mins to do if you are using a grinder i went through a few blocks so i know the process very well.

i have been preaching about this turbo ever since i got it, and me and a few others on this forum are the few who really know the potentials of this, this thing is like a mini freight train
