Well the problems still persist.. so I had my boy rae rae @SR20NYC send me an oem b15 clutch master in hopes this Napa unit is just a pos..

First thing I noticed is the clevis was shorter on the oem unit but the rod was longer by almost 1/4 inch, so I swapped the Napa clevis on threaded it till it was flush, perfect fit the first time! Then we bled it per fsm..

And voila! It shifts so good now! Better than ever!

I had to extend the Napa b15 master on my b13 6 speed swap by about a half inch and it works great.

Went to the track Saturday, did pathetic.. turbo Mani is cracked an not holding boost, still wheel hops like a bitch...

Good news is she shifted perfectly, no issues, which I was afraid of.. but she did really well..

Now to RE-remove my manifold again, clean it up and have it welded better.. then install my electric boost controller.. maybe I have time to go 1 more time before the season is over..

Your better off getting a new one. After they crack so many times the area gets contaminated and just won't hold any more.

ok i guess i'll spill the beans, wasn't really even gonna bother documenting anything much any more as it seems like the forum is kinda dying.. but, fuck it.. heres for those of you who are still here!

the tires are 225/50/15 mickey thompson drag radials, as for the new turbskie,

since my manifold weld broke at the turbo flange i haven't been driving my car, its not all the way broken but meh, whats the point.. so i could have just fixed it an been on my way, but even tho its kinda silly i went this direction.. pte 5531 .63ar, its air cooled an journal bearing.. it was cheap and it'll be easy and cheap to repair in the future if need be.. also there will be more room to weld the flange onto the manifold.. its really not a whole lot bigger than my current turbo so should fit in the same location just have to change the 2 flanges an maybe a few other things..

i am also going to be picking up another VE from a friend so the plans are..

made sure to get the gtir/ve 5 hole main bearings

also going to be putting some CP 9.0:1 ve pistons already have em just not here with me so i'll take pics tomorrow.. i'd like to get some rods too but probably not in the budget lol, i can do some det rods that i have or just keep the ve rods.. going to probably also use gtir main bolts + a girdle..

the plan is to start running more boost, the car is fun on 9-10lbs but i've always baby'd it cuz ive been worried about blowin it up or something and i didnt have a real back up car..

TIME TO SEE WHAT MY SHEILA CAN REALLY DO!

    Here's the pistons

I might of forgot to mention it but I also traded my n1 cams for a set of vet cams so those will be going in also, but I will have some sr16 an n1 cams to play with also if I get froggy but I'll prob just use em as is..

Thanks guys, I'm def excited! Gonna be patient an take my time an do things how I feel is right..

Really hoping the tires and some learning helps me get down the track quicker..

I might of also forgot to mention that Nate and I got a tig welder now we are learning how to tig!

    Here is some 3/16 aluminum

Here is a stainless pipe I had layin around, got it to do a waste gate dump back in the day an ended up not using it so been practicing on it..

First few from left to right are just fusion welded then we tried with the wrong filler rod for fun but Shits stuck together we couldn't beat it apart lol, no back purging either..

We are obviously begginers but we are making progress every day, stay tuned for some more custom work coming! We will be doing much nicer jobs on out cars now that we have more equipment to work with

It's all about seat time with TIG. Keep at it and you'll see significant improvement in the coming months!
Also a quality gas lense/cup setup is a great investment from the start.

Decided not to half ass it an reuse the stock ve rods/bolts or use unknown det stuff and just get some Manley rods instead.. I'll get some pics tomorrow

    So far the plans are:
    VE block
    VET cams
    CP ve 9.0:1 pistons
    Manley rods
    Acl 5 hole main bearings
    Acl rod bearings
    VET head gasket
    Mazworx head studs
New det main bolts (can't find gtir main bolts)

With that and the new turbskie my goal is 400+ and I'll prob drive it around on 9-10 psi so whatever that makes.. I'm not really looking to Max it out for all its worth because I don't wanna blow it up, I've done good so far not grenading it with this logic lol

Stock mains are good for 500-550+ WHP. No sense is risking going with anything else due to having to get align hone.

    Looking good!
