Need help 240sx det issues
My buddy picked up a 240 with a det swapped in running on a stock ecu. The turbo was blown. We put a gt28rs on it, with some Nismo 555 cc inj, and an enthalpy ecu, and a 300zx maf. The car will only start with the maf unplugged. It runs like crap and dies. He also had to pull the fuel pump fuse to get it to start but after that we put it in and it ran good a while. As soon as we plugged the maf it instantly died. We tried the head temp sensor but ran the same way. Any ideas?

Do you haven another ECU to try? or a friend with the same year DET ecu or PFC that you could try out.

yeah I think enthalpy works with Cobra MAFs but can be programed to work with a z32 one. Power FC makes things a lot easier but I would double check with the ecu tuner.

sounds maf related. I would double check the wiring and verify the ground was good for the maf. You also could have a problem with the tune.
