The GT37R will make 650 WHP with no problem.

The new turbo will be a 6765 with billet front wheel, but thats far off.

Ya i figured it wasn't TS considering you said only one wg. The TS would prob benefit mid-range a bit. It cuts about 5% off the total capacity of the turbo system though, because of the smaller housing.

If I can get the GTX35r to spool like my old .63 GT3076r I would be really impressed, but it doesn't seem likely lol.

The GT37r is a beast! The 6765 is so far beyond the GT37r its just crazy. I can't believe you guys can stand the lag of that big of a turbo without TS. I know it is a 2.2, but it has to be sluggish. The 6765 is just plain huge. Good for 800whp or something right?

They have made 900+whp on evos if I recal , heck the SC6262 I have has made around 740whp if not more as well again on a EVO

There is no slugishness at all. The 2.2L motor makes that turbo spool quickly.

I raced this car with a 2L VE NX2000 with N1 cams that makes 200 WHP and lost badly to the 2.2L VE that has 9 to 1 compression with 20V header.

The 2.2L VE was probably a 12.7-12.9 sec car at 9 to 1 compression withou the turbo.

I've built 3sGTE/5sGTE hybrids before. With ported head, big cams, and 2.2l it was very slow to even boost a GT35r with a .63. I guess it just depends on what you call sluggish, as it is based on individual perception. I no doubt know the VE would absolutely kill it in power delivery and output, but that's what has been holding me back on the GT35r swap over the GT30r.

The GT37 is a nice sized turbo. I am guessing the GT3788r, since the others are pointless. How big of a difference does .2L make as far as spool you think?
