makes me wonder..I thought T25 @ 12lbs + S4 average out around 250whp. I'm surprised some of you are seeing a lot more than that. My car does feel pretty strong..

On the disco car I maxxed out the 555cc injectors. Running 21psi of boost peak, falling to about 18psi at redline. Dyno chart showed 345whp, 370wtq and a pretty flat curve. This was high altitude, so the absolute pressure was a little bit less than you guys at sea level.

On the street the car was only running 12psi with a 18psi spike. It made 280whp and 340wtq or so. I have been so impressed with the disco it is hard to justify going to any other T28 turbo.

I made 283 whp with GTi-R T28 and manifold @ 13.5 psi on a stock avenir with S4s and neo afc

How come the disco makes so much more torque than hp?

When ever that happens on any turbo it is because they are hitting the peak output of the turbo early (creating a high torque number) usually due to higher than efficient boost pressure. When you're undertaxing a turbo you will see low torque numbers and high power numbers. As you tax the turbo more and more you'll see the torque number rise because you'll be flowing more air earlier (and begin to overwhelm the heat-sink capacity of the intercooler early in the rpm range) but the power number won't move much because you'll have hit the limit of the amount of air the turbo can feed and the intercooler is saturated early.

That sounds like it's not a good idea..

Not sure if you want this datapoint or not but I have a GTi-R T28 on my lowport DE and made 303 WHP (237 WTQ) at 10.6 psi. Stock cams. I have no idea how much power is left in the turbo.
