Odd, I could have sworn the T25 and T28 bolt patterns were different (one bolt hole is slightly off). Maybe that's just the difference between the T25/T28 and the GT25/GT28. I just don't have enough experience with all the options. Whoops.

hmmm well now that i think bout it i think you might be right. one of the holes were slightly off. just a little bit. i had to open the hole a little bit for it to sit flush... other then that it fit just fine

Yeah, but he used the same O2 housing. If you try to use a T25 downpipe on a T28 O2, it won't work.

You can use a T25 O2 with a T25 downpipe on a T28, but that doesn't mean that a T25 downpipe is the same as a T28.

Sorry for the confusion, I know Jensen and I were talking about a different thing than the original topic.

Haha, yeah I gotcha. I should have quoted. I was talking about this:

I think I have a T25 and T28 jpipe in my attic. I can probably grab a picture for a good visual.

As for the bolt patterns, Jen's right (you're both right really). They are different, but close enough that you can oval out one of the bolt holes to make it work. See the bolt hole on the upper right?:

So, basically it's true that if you have a T25 manifold/J-Pipe, get the T25 DP. If you have a GTiR manifold/J-pipe, get the T28 DP. Regardless of what turbo you are running. DP selection has only to do w/the J-pipe and not the turbo itself.

Correct?

^^correct unless you have a SR20VET manifold. that's totally different.

And I don't think you can use a BB manifold with a T28. Pretty sure you can use the Avenir manifold with some minor grinding on the block.

umm incorrect you can use a t28 with a bb manifold. because im running that right now. and yes i had to grind the block
