gearbox options for GTiR
looking for gearbox options for a GTiR

the PPG straight cut gear set is only rated at 600hp which isn't enough
must be a manual gearbox or sequential

looking for any thing rated at over 1000hp

what are my options ?

Mazworx billet case...

even that wont do it, they broke the factory bellhousing at that power level. You need a full billet end case and bell housing and either a quaife or PPG gearstack. Alternatively you could convert to a full EVO drivetrain and get it built by someone and drop in a gearstack.

Or get something custom Xtrac - Transmission Technology

Lets see your build? Sounds awesome.

PPG or PAR dog engagement gearsets can hanldle 1000hp but a factory GTI-R/Bluebird gearcase will not, the cases have to be reinforced for them to handle any serious power.

If I had a GTiR I'd go with the evo transmissions. They have the aftermarket behind them.

Only thing that sucks is that you are into a full drivetrain swap with custom propshaft and axles. Unless you go with Evo hubs and knuckles...in which case just buy and evo...lol
