Increased engine vibration with lightweight flywheel?
I recently installed a Fidanza lightwheel flywheel on my car and it seems that vibration has increased ever since. Is this a common issue? I replaced all the mounts on my car but can still feel a s light vibration in 2nd and 3rd. Im a bit concerned and honestly didnt think it would be an issue. I guess my question is, is it normal to experience increased vibration when installing a lightweight flywheel?

You are essentially removing a damper from the engine when you remove the stock flywheel, I wouldn't be to concerned as long as you know everything is bolted up correctly.

You can get your clutch and flywheel balanced at a machine before install.

Would doing that cure the vibration?

I had some kind of vibration in my stock motor, when I rebuilt it I balanced the whole thing to the flywheel and clutch. The guy at the machine shop told me if I ever get a new clutch or flywheel to bring it back to him to get balanced. After the rebuild I didn't have that vibration near anymore. I felt it in the gas pedal.
