Missed out on the 10's due to cutting off severly on 3rd Gear.
VEGAS-
Our previous attempt in Las Vegas earlier this year we ran 11.17 @124mph= 1.787 60foot (not great), 7.239 1/8 at 97.73mph, 6.073 1000ft, 11.179 @ 124.03 - with the exception of a bit of cutting off on 4th and a slightly worst launch the car pulled thru on 2nd 3rd very nicely!
BAKERSFIELD-
11.13 @ 128mph= 1.693 60foot (better), 7.209 1/8 @ 103.17mph, 9.357 1000foot, 11.131 @ 128.10mph
Car over all ran like sht on 3rd gear... it was cutting off (hesitating) ONLY on 3rd! Weather- upper 80's and humid!
Biggest difference in these two passes is the 1000ft time! 6.073 vs 9.357 .. a 1/4 mile has 1320feet... clearly third gear upper range flaw!
We are gapping the sparkplugs at 8.. i believe... we think that with teh 6266 precision @ 20+ lbs boost it is blowing off the spark! Sept Bakerfield we will get another chance to hit the 10's by gapping the plugs a lot more!
