Default 12.9 @ 105

i went back to the track again yesterday, and since it was a domestic/ bracket day the track was actually decently prepped and i finally got to break into the 12s. but unfortunately i broke an axle again after only a couple passes! so i wasnt able to get a really good run in. maybe ill go again later in the season after a good tune with a spare set of axle and go for 12.7...
1.9 60ft

here is the video

Sweet

You say you broke an axle AGAIN? What was the condition of the axles prior to breaking them?

ah well i broke the axle that i just prelaced 3 days prior. nothing wrong with the axles, i think its just too much rpm to ask out of them. i think preloading the car a little more would help, but by ebrake isnt doing the best job right now, so once i get that taken care of it will help.

I wonder about your axles as well man. Something wrong is happening. I've never broke one, and have pulled 1.8 60's NA and 1.7's spraying.

rpm. ive ran lots of 1.9s with my turbo set up too, and that was 300whp but i wasnt launching at +8k. i really think that the rpm is the problem, and like i said if i could pre load the car harder, i would be ok with such a high rpm launch.

Ah! Yeah, sick ass launches at that high of an RPM would be shocking to our little axles.

sick runs man, i cant wait to get back to the track, dang you beat my time all motor, rediculous. haha keep it up man, its that 60ft though with a 1.9 my time would be around a 12.5@110. but dang you keep getting faster and faster. With a 1.8 or better you will be down there right at 12.6-7

Love it Cory, way to go! Those axles died the death of a martyr so no problem there, maybe time to upgrade eh?

as far as i know the best time ive seen on slip is a 12.1@110 by daveracer on here. some people say there is some running a 11.9 but ive yet to see the slip. im shooting for an 11.8-9 but i will be happy if i can hit a 12.0 too. but i would really love to break that 12.0 on a T25, hopefully soon or it will have to wait till fall so its nice and cool. Ive got my head back on and just gotta button everything back up now and break in the new pistons and rings.
