Did anyone attend this event. I was watching the live feed every couple hours, and reading through about 30 pages on honda tech to keep updated. All i can say is this sport is not dying at all. The things people are doing in the import drag racing scene is rediculous. It was exciting just sitting in my living room keeping up on the feed waiting for the Outlaw and SFWD finals to go down. All i can say is Miller from NRG tech is bad ass breaking his certification going 8.4's@181 in qualifying and then having to be on the brakes every run and some down the the tree and coming as close to 8.50 as possible for him because one more would have DQ'd him. Final between Speedfactory and NRG tech miller went 8.50@149 i believe on the brakes to take the win.

It really motivates me to get my car done and out there to start competing in and being a part of some events. I know i wont be super competitive but ill do my best and represent. They showed some pics of the event and the stands were packed and someone posted a domestic event at another track and there was hardly anyone there. haha.

Cant wait to see the vids of this event. I watched the vid of the 8.4 run from miller and a 10.1 all motor record setting run from another nrg tech car. Crazy stuff.

Event was sick,tb auto b-series all motor went 10.48.Miller went 8.56,that car is insanely fast. And the sfwd was a close field Allan from Dynamic perfomance went 9.00 in a sfwd car. Van Natten srt-4 went 8.99.And i must say i got to tip my hat off to the guys that made the extra long trip. Speedfactory guys are flying trapping high 170's.
I also was looking forward to a T1 vs. Miller final. The quick 32 where driving their asses off,i got to say that it takes alot of balls drive on of those. And those who missed it,missed a great event.

Yeah Tony is a really cool dude and the entire crew from T1 is awesome. They helped me decide on the fuel system i picked out for my setup. Its too bad i didnt know about their shop when i lived in Texas or i would have been there checking it out.

I heard that final round between SF and Miller was awesome as SF's motor was definetly hurt and smoking up a storm and running on 2 cylinders and still went 9.9 and put up the fight. Crazy stuff, this sport is far from dying and hopefully we can see more variety of competition out there in the upcoming years. I dont know if our cars or if someone with the right amount of money will take the plunge to make our cars competitive again but i sure hope so and ill do my best with the little money i have to get out there and represent. Cant wait.

Yeah the sf dude were flying they trapping 170's+ all day, crazy 9.9 miss firing.Without a doubt they did their thing i kinda was rooting for them and T1 to win.I'm seriuosly looking forward to you finishing your car and making a quick car.Not even 1 se-r at the event,in any off the classes. If money situationw wasn't so tight right i would build a 11.50 index car,by far the one of the best classes around here.Always full payouts and full fields, plus is great heads up racing.

Is there a weight limit on the 11.50 index cars? I havent read all the rules concerning that. I know the SFWD has a certain weight limit and has to be a full interior street car or something along those lines.

Yeah there are a lot of people in that class. I could have kept my se-r full interior with the power i was at on 24psi and done that class pretty reliably as that was my constant time, 11.5-11.6 @128mph. But im gonna try and get that 9 second pass then might just back it down to compete in the 10.0 index. Not positive on what i want to do as far as class. But as it goes right now its either the index class or Outlaw because of the weight my car sits at right now. I know i have no shot in those outlaw brackets even if i was running consistent high 9's. Maybe in more local events i would be alright but not in big events like that. lol. I dont have that kind of cash to be competitive in that class. But hey i can try and do my best with what ive got.

But we are starting to get the parts to be more reliable and competitive now we just need some ballers with the cash or some good sponsorships. haha I love where the scene is going but to be honest 95% of the cars are hondas and that sucks. lol
