Optimum suspention setting for drag racing
Now I have talked to thousands of racers....very humbly.....I have yet to find the proper answer for my question. Its sort of 50/50...... What is the optimum suspetion set up for drag when using coil overs on a FWD car? Do I want the weight favored over the front wheels...aka raising up the rear of the car slamming the front end or............ will jacking up the front end slaming the rear end of the car the best set up?.

REAR: Stiff
Front: Soft

Keep the rear high and stiff as possible, and squat is wasted energy. Keep the front end from lifting during your launch.

Yep, rear needs to be high and super stiff. Front should be low and have some give in it, certainly softer than the rear.

My car is now set up with a nice rake as far as stance. AGX's in the rear are great do to being able to adjust them.

I also run stiffer springs on the back and my front struts have little travel because they are 2.5 inches shorter

theres a shop next to me that deals woth eibach and if you give him the measurments of your spring such as height and diameter he can get almost any spring rate you could ask for

I've got just about the cheapest setup you can get and pull 1.6 60fts lol. I've added some extra bumpstops in the rear to prevent squatting on launch though.
