Another trip to the track
It'd been 2 months since I went and sprayed the car. I had done a little to it, hoping for 7.7's but didn't quite get it, mostly because of my poor driving. I had ran 7.8 twice so far on different nights so it did do a little better I guess. Funny thing is that I had picked up a tenth by the 330 just couldn't carry it to the end of the track lol. At the same time it was down a full mph all night.

I also ran two 7.91's.

practice my man, practice. haha. Its funny cuz i go to the track maybe once every 6 months on average all for about 5-7 runs at the most. Last two times out i only got 5 runs two of which i was warned for going to fast, then the time before only 3 runs before getting kicked off for going to fast. haha

I wonder what they are going to say when i pull a 10.0-2 or so @140+ next time out still with no cage, no 5 point harness, no scatter shield, hahaha I love it. See i debate on putting a cage in there but its my daily driven street car that i get to take to the track again maybe 2-4 times a year. So whats the point in having that stuff in there. I could see if i was competing in sfwd competition or something but still im not. They always complain every time i go that i dont have the stuff when i go under 11.5 but again why put it in there if i dont even go enough to really consider spending the money on putting it in there.

Anyways good luck next time out. Its all practice. Usually my first run i blow the entire run cuz i mess up usually cuz im nervous the first one. haha But second run and after i usually do pretty well. Usually its just the slicks im running on that are the culprit for the slower than i should be run.

As for your not going much, just tell them each time that you'll have it all next time and see if you can keep running that night. If you really go that far apart they won't remember lol.

Mine has a 7.6 in it with the 100 shot, who knows how long it'll take me to get it though. I'm going to try the 150 before the end of this year either way.

yeah i went almost 5 months apart and the same tech guy was there and he kinda remembered me. Its hard to forget a white nissan sentra with a hole in the hood, huge fmic, running low 11's haha.

He just tells me next time to have it. But yeah i dont really want to do it. For the main reason that i dont go enough to really need it. I pay 25.00 to run so i should at least get my one run but the guy usually gives me a break and says try to keep it 11.5 or slower or ill have to send ya packing. So basicly i could do one full 1/4 run he will warn me and then just do 1000 ft runs and the hit the brakes and base it off my 1/8 mile times. But i think if i go 10.0 or 10.1 and trap 140+ i dont think there is even gonna be a warning involved. They will just tell me to come back when i have the proper equipment. haha.

Well you gotta do what you gotta do. They just now started making me wear a helmet. I wasn't happy about it at all, but it's no big deal. 7.49 and faster I have to get a cage.

Yeah cuz 7.49 would be equivalent to a 11.49 1/4 mile pass. Good luck man and have fun. I cant wait to get back to the track now that its finally getting cooler out. Not quite cool enough but close.
