Just got back from the track with the VE...
Decided to take my car up to Lebanon Valley Dragway and see how the car does. Overall i'm pretty happy but track conditions sucked. I kept getting sent to the left lane and every damn car was spinning bad. Here are some quick times.

92 SE-R minor weight reduction
SR20VE motor
N1 cams
SSAC 2.5'' header
3'' test pipe
2.5'' crushbent cat-back
3'' intake
N60 MAF
Calum basic

First pass on street tires:

60'........2.137
1/4.......13.946
MPH......99.42

Second pass on BFG 16psi (50% life with ****ty burnout)

60'........2.142
1/4.......13.844
MPH......99.05

3rd pass on BFG 12psi another ****ty burnout and launch

60'........2.345
1/4.......13.987
MPH......98.98

I'm not upset since at least 4 out of the 5 passes were consistent 13.8-13.9's. I was launching around 6,500 or so. Spun part way through first. on the 3rd pass I launched at 5,500 or so and it bogged down then took off. Also let off early on that damn run. I was hoping to pull a 1.9 60' and try to get a 13.5 out of it but oh well. Not bad I guess for a quick slapped together setup. Time for pulleys, lightweight flywheel, 3'' exhaust, and a real tune. Videos coming soon!

Nice MPH, if by next time you dont have 3" exhaust try running it open header. Also what rpm are you shifting at?

I thought 3" exhaust on a N/A VE was losing power for some?

It should help him on the top end, which is what he's looking for when drag racing. Probably never drops below 6K...depending on where your shifting.

Launch high enough and you wont. I ran open header on slicks w/ stock cams and didnt bog at all launching @ 7K.

I'm just curious, what did you have when you ran the B20v Si? I loved how your car moved out!

I'll have to give that a shot. I forgot all about unbolting the cat-back. First gear would shoot to 9,000 like nothing. Second gear I would shift at 8,700 or so and then third would ride out to the end.
