VE-t or DE-t for drag racing
Okay fellas, i saw a k20 turbo dc2 integra at the drags the othe rnight run and 11.2 at 126mph and i rethought my 10 second drag car idea and realized its not hard to do in a fwd car. Now my dilemma is do i get another ve head and run a ve-t or would it be easier to just run a det since i already have the blcok and head for that setup? I would need to purchase a ve head due to floating a valve last fall so that adds 600-800 bucks on to the total price. Im just not sure how worth it the high lobes are for the ve. I think the only advantage to the ve would be streetability really. Let me know guys, thanks

VE can rev a lot higher with valve springs. It will make more power. But it will cost more. DET is cheap and very fast, it also has a broad powerband with (generally) more torque than the VE.
