i am going to test my ve for the first time since the swap in my b13. by racing my boy this weekend in his eg coupe. now am asking what rpm should i launch and whats the best time for the vvl to kick in. i got it at 55 right now
my mods are:
stock sr20ve
fidanz flywheel
act pp
01 se disc
top speed headers from jgy
hks cat back
no a/c
k&n filter
n60 maf
jwt ecu
msd 8969
205/50/15 azenis

i have race before plenty of times. but its big difference between a jdm de and a ve. i know am a newbie, so feel free to comment

Why dont you just go practice driving the car and launching it?? How would we be able to tell you where and how to launch the car???

Start out revving up to 4k slip the clutch and see what happens

Yeah that's why I said get slicks lol. With slicks you can launch as high as you are willing and guaranteed to get traction. The rest of the driving from there on out is up to you lol.
