I personally have one for 1300. You will have to work out shipping.

I know lots of importers have Montreal-based warehouses. I think I even know someone who has a business that inspects (not all of the motors in there are good) and ships them, and you being close to Montreal (well, somewhat) may end you up with a good deal and no customs fees.

Let me check, and I'll get back to you.

I mean no disrespect to Andreas here. Shipping from Florida will cost a fortune. He even mentioned it himself.

Another option would be to go on vacation to Florida for a week or two with your car and schedule the install at the same time (if Andreas can do such a thing). I actually considered this before deciding I'd do the work myself to save a little money (I'm getting lazy with time).

I'd be careful about e-bay engines though, unless I would buy it with the intent of a rebuild.

Well, don't mind my offer. It turns out my contact stopped doing this type of business last summer.

That said, I would not buy an engine I did not get the chance to see, inspect, and test myself (or without having someone I trust do it for me). When I bought mine last summer, I actually found 3 bad motors before discovering the one I now have, which was in perfect shape.

One of them actually had 60 cold compression on cylinder #1.
