Alternative OS? - SR20 Community Forum

So i'm debating on a dedicated system to tune and monitor my R/T

my tuner it think was using tunerpro/nissan datascan/ and calmsult?

I was wonderin for monitoring stuff is there anything that will work on a diffent OS? maybe Linux, Windows CE etc. I hate the boot time on Xp and was wondering if there are any alternative hopefully linux or some open source os
