Default Safe to drive VE on DE ECU with DE MAF?

Sorry to bother you man I know you are super busy but was hoping for your expert opinion on whether or not it is safe for me to be driving around my VE on the DE ECU and DE MAF until I am able to get an ecu from you?

Much appreciated.. Tanner S.

Yes, I did it for 6 months. Put the base timing at around 22* and it will run great. This is with the 333cc injectors.

oh wow 22*, is that because the stock ve timing map is more aggressive than the stock de timing map?

YES, Tanner. and because you're matching the maf/ecu. the slightly larger injectors won't hurt much, if at all.

Right on thanks for the information guys. I took the car for a drive the other night it completely fell on its face after 4k and 1-4k was pretty lame too. I figured out today while trying to advance the timing that my tps is bad so I am sourcing one right now.

For everyones information I got my TPS fixed, took the timing up above 20* base. The car definitely drives alot better and already feels faster than my NA det with intake/header/catback/pullies. Made my own switch for the VVL solenoids too and it works great .
