Need help lol.
Ok the laptop I used to program the ecu hasn't been used in a long time. I just got it out and all the bins and xdf are gone lol. At this point I have no idea which setup my car is running on. I think it's still on the one I used for nitrous which takes out alot of timing. Anyway do any of you have a good bin for the setup in my sig? I had just been running Calums tuned stock version before. I actually need it with a n60 maf too if that's possible.

Here's what you do.

Take your laptop, and start up TunerPro RT. Download the xdf file for a B13. Set it as the default in TunerPro. Now, connect to your ECU, and enable the connection between the PC and ECU. Click the down arrow, and save it as x.bin, x being whatever your current setup is.

Now, you have the bin that's currently running your car, and you can modify it however is necessary. The N60 maf is as simple as taking the VQ map from an N60 bin file, and copying it over to the current working bin file that's running your car. You may have to modify the K value slightly, depending on what MAF the car was previously set up for.

I know how to do the xdf and get the bins, as I've done all that before. I was wondering if anyone had a newer NA bin. I saw a few times on the other forum where Calum had made a tuned v4 bin but none of the links work. Also I'm not exactly comfortable changing stuff on the bins. I imagine if I sat down and went through it slowly lol I could do it.

I can do this for you Aaron. When you were running with the stock ecu, how much were you retarding the timing at the distributor?

About 5 degrees when using the nitrous. I'm not really needing a nitrous tune right now though lol. Not PLANNING on spraying it again till next year. I'm just trying to make sure things are in order on the NA side if you know what I mean. There's a good chance that the bin on it now has the timing retarded. I really only want a good na tune for now and then when I get the car situated I want to go to a dyno and hope to hell they can tune it with your program lol. I know that's alot to ask for especially a nitrous tune as well.

Can you make me the tuned v4 that will work with the n60 maf? Has the xdf changed any? I need to redo it as well.

Ok I got the xdf and a bin off the other forum. It's the one from that guy with the touring car. Similar setup to mine just without the big cams. What I'm wondering is about the rev limiter. His was set to 7500 which is too low for me. If I load the bin to tunerpro, adjust it, then tell it to upload the bin to the emulator will that change be on the ecu even though tunerpro won't save the change to the bin? I'm thinking so, cause after I do that, I told it to verify the two and it was different lol. Why can't it just change the bin itself? Anyway I'm gonna try this all again and see if I can comprehend some of it this time lol. As it is I'm sure there's a better bin out there already for my setup and when I put that maf on I'll need another. I plan on getting VE injectors as well, so that's another change but I think I can get Kevin to help me fine tune that part lol.

Ok I understand this and think I am going to try it lol, but I'm nervous as hell doing it. Thanks for the help btw.
