Tuner near Fontana... Whos GREAT with SR20DET... I will soon need to tune my sh!t and I want more than I can do myself I think.

Yes I can google it, but I would like responses from people who have USED and are HAPPY with their tune, if that's you please lemme know.

I am new to ECU Tuning but not wrenching so bare with me...

So I have a 96 200-sx SE-R with a SR20DE+T and the PO already has installed what seems to be a step down from OBD2 to OBD1 as seen here... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1451890595069076&l=f8119ad174

Inside the ECU seems to be an unknown (to me) daughterboard as seen here... https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1454373761487426&l=947876bd1e

but I see now way to hook up a laptop so I "assume" to mod the tune it requires removing the chips and burning the new file on them but do not have such a burner.

Which leads me on my adventure, I was told just a base tune was loaded so I need to get it sorted out.

(Side note, I am a computer tech to the technical aspect fears me none)

Back on task, so I don't know what I should do? Here are my questions...

1: Is removing, reading, and modding the existing chips easy to do?
2: With the plug already soldered into the main board can I simply remove the existing daughterboard and plug another in that allows pc connection for tuning?
3: Is there a better cost effective way to go about being able to tune my ecu?

Ok Champ your going to have to do a few things. 1 that ecu isn't real time so you need to buy a chip burner but I'd wouldn't because this is 2014 not 2005. Buy a nismotronic real time ecu and plug it into your current ecu. That board will unplug and the nismotronic will plug into it's place. Then you have to solder a few wires and your good to go. Then tow your car to Hustler in Downey Ca to get it dyno tuned.

He is a dealer for nismotronic so you can order it from him. He will give you a package that will include setup and dyno tune so you can drive your car away.
