VE'd NX2000 on Craigslist
I hope I don't regret posting this here but I'm thinking of checking out the following VE'd NX2000:
Modded Nissan Nx2000-VVL-

I think I saw this car posted with no price a few months ago and figured it was already sold. I'll be checking it out on Friday if he still has the car.

Does the owner post here? Has anyone personally looked at this car yet? If so what are your impressions and observations? Does the description seem legit, does anyone see any redflags here? I've been out of the SR20 world for years so kind of lost right now.

Looks legit to me. The exterior looks like piss but the interior and swap looks nice and clean. It would be something you need to see in person for sure though. Drive it.

Hoping it's good. Crappy exterior with great performance is what I'm looking for.

Also does anyone know of any VE tuners in the SF Bay Area?

Is it a shop that does the tuning or a forum member?

Anyone know of this one?

I was thinking of checking that one out too. I remembered seeing it on Craigslist a few months ago and had exchanged emails with the previous owner who was selling it for $1500 less at the time and it looked to be in better condition in his pics than what it does now. Is this one owned by a member here?

I checked out the maroon one. Outside wasn't pretty at all. He kept the interior and engine bay clean though. Still thinking if I should get it or not. Pretty sure I want it. It needs suspension work and probably a tune. I forgot what N/A cars feel like so the power was underwhelming. Hopefully no one plucks it out from under me!

What have you been driving that the VE can feel underwhelming? lol What size exhaust is it running.

Exterior is a easy fix. Even just hitting it with plastidip until you can swing a full paint and body work.

He has a stock exhaust on there. Some stock intake box probably from a Pathfinder or something and I think he had DNA header.

I bought an Evo VIII before selling my beloved B14 SE-R. Did some modding over time and driving that for the past 6 years. I've had other N/A cars like CRX, Miata, and AE86 since selling the SE-R but those engines feel like lawn mowers compared to my old SR20 with I/H/E.

Then that car is missing a ton of untapped power with just the exhaust and intake. The ve is a little monster with the simplist things done to it. People here on the forum had there VEd powered car mistaken for turboed. Haha we can easily beat up on modded STIs
