Did I mention California sucks ass. lol. Cuz it does.

The US should just sell/give California to Mexico.

Hopefully they get it back open soon for you guys. Sucks to see one strip after another close down and thats not just Cali.

Yeah, probably like 2.5 hours. I know I can make it to the the 5/99 freeway split in 2 hours. Not sure how much farther Famoso is from there.

That blows people started complaining here in NJ to where Raceway park is but nothing ever happened.. Morons bought a house where the track is, The track has been here since the 60s

They knew what they were getting into and probaly got a better deal on the house because of it..

Makes me so mad! I dont think E-Town is going anywhere there lucky enough they own tons of land around the track so its semi isolated..

1 of the best if not the best track in the country!!

Not a drag strip, but a much longer adrenaline rush IMO are HPDE's. Extremespeed has one at the Streets of Willow on the 14th. $110.

I'll be there in my VE NX and supercharged AW11.

I guess that depends on going longer than a 1/4 mile and making turns as fast as you can control your car within it's limits. Never have done a timed 1/4 drag but it's balls to the wall, different rush than doing an HPDE. I'm with you, rather do the HPDE. Rush to me is way more intense especially when you are mixing it up with Race prepped Evos, Porsches, STIs, ACR Vipers, BMWs, turbo Hondas, turbo Miatas, etc, etc.... and all you have is a VE'd Sentra just trying not to get crushed. The rush is when you occasionally pass a few of them or they can't catch you as easy on the straights going 4 cars wide at 130-145mph. You get your 1/4 mile drag but you have 15-20 minutes of oh sh*t driving in between. However things have changed here in Phoenix as far as tracks too. Not many available for racing either 1/4 mile drag or road racing thanks to HOA noise restrictions or NASCAR reconfiguration of our PIR mainstay track. Firebird is still here and they do the Friday Night Drags 1-2X monthly as well as Speedworld but that's it. Seems like everyone is cracking down on racing in some form in Cali and AZ. Not looking good.

Bunch of whinny people complaining about being close to a track that was there before the houses were there. Stupid people.

I wouldnt complain too much about being 2 hours away from a 1/4 mile strip. I had to travel 3+ every time I would go to Speedworld or Firebird. Do what you got to do.
