Thread: Heading to Lincoln!

I know this section doesn't get a lot of views,but I'm getting ready to head to Lincoln,Ne. for the SCCA National Championship.Seeing as how I'm the only Sr20 powered car there,can I get a little moral/spiritual support from the folks on here? I'm taking my DD/autocross car and driving 800 miles there,competing for 2 days,and driving 800 miles home.I'm driving the car in DSP,#13;and my friend Cindy is driving it in DSPL as #42.I'm shooting for mid-pack out of 21 drivers,and she should be the top spot out of 4 cars.
Just hoping for good vibes so that the car does well,doesn't break anything,and we have some fun.We both run on Thursday/Friday.You can catch the action at sololive.scca.com.She runs 1st heat,I run 4th.Thanks,and We appreciate your support!

Wow that is a far trip. I'm in Omaha so about 45 mins away from Lincoln. Lucky you are here while Nebraska has an away football game. You would of hated traffic. Good luck man.

I'm hoping my job will allow me the free time to get back to Solo Nationals next year. Couldn't make it happen this time, and I was even offered a seat in a D-Prepared Miata.

Ahh well,it's over.Finished 16th out of 21.Pretty disappointed I didn't drive better.Day 1 was a road race course where the BMW's extra 100hp made a big difference,but I could have been closer had I driven smarter.Day 2 was a blast,way more busy,but you were always turning the wheel at speed.Left about a half second out there,but wouldn't have made a huge difference.Still the most fun I've had at Nationals in a long time.I'll get some day 2 video up soon,missed day1 with a dead battery in the GoPro Thanks for the support!
