This is a great thread Gus. I want to paint my rallycross car. Same deal, little body work, just a quick job. I also want to paint it outside, [to keep the garage from getting all oversprayed]. What kind of paint did you use? You painted outside this time of year?

Hey Mike how are you, it was in between Macco and me painting it I cooed had Macco do it for $300 to $400 but will had bent a single stage , in fact my first a second Rally car I had it paint same color is car by Macco and I will have to say paint chip very easy . I don't recall the name of the place and the brand of the paint and such , but if you need the info I can get it for you . I have the recives .
I do remember that material for prep and painting the cage , interior and engine bay cost me $300 , now for the exterior prep and painting cost me $400
I painted the car back in October, just got around to start posting now because I have a little in sediment with my knee that required Surgery , this was done in Dec , so know slowly I started working on the car again

Glad to see you back working on this car Gus!

When are you hoping to make your debut with it? This year?

Te idea was to come back in San Blast Rally 2012 , but unfortunly the knee injure I suffer in November put a stop in my build, I had surgery in Dec and all this is making the build very slow . Wild building the car I was also building a new shop in my back yard because the shop that I'm currently on right now the lease is coming up to a end on 2012.

Now my eye are in STPR 2012 or the new Tarmac Rally in NY in 08/12

Very cool. Well, you know where my shop is, if you need a hand with fabricating or welding something give me a call on my cell.

PS, they are allowing hillclimb cars to run the tarmac Rally NY, we *might* run my friend's car that ran up Mt. Washington last year. If so, I'll see you there!
