My Primera AWD Winter Rally action
This February i had great chance to race in local famous amateur rally with very long history. Its not easy to get there but we were lucky.

My car was Nissan Primera 2.0 SLX 4x4 with poorly slow SR20Di 115HP. Its not fast, but its a lot of fun on snow with GTiR typical ATTESA system and rear LSD. Car was cheap, i did basic maintance and bought wheels + tires.

We werent expecting nothing - do not crash the car and have as much fun as possible. We were succesfull in both things, plus we ended up on very nice 29th place from 130.

Here is nice video of our car:

And here some pictures:

I hope you will like non-typical Nissan AWD rally action and leave some comments. Enjoy

Right on man! Over here in the states there are about 4-5 new B13 Sentra SE-R rally cars that are either built or in the process of being built, just this year alone.

Keep it up, rally is an incredibly rewarding motorsport.

Nice looks like a good time. I always want to do this and maybe I'll get a chance next season.

That was awesome. I think it is so cool how your country allows you to rally on closed roads without a roll cage. No wonder they got 130 entries! Was your Primera completely stock? What if anything was done to it to compete?

I like your driving commitment too. Roads that are partially snow covered can be very tricky. Good traction in some places but not in others. Congratulations, you and your navigator did very well!

wildmane: Good to know people over there trying to build some real racing Nissans! Keep it up.

blownb310: yeah, its one of last races that are allowed without rollcage. There were some bad crashed, including my good friend in EVO. My Primera was stock.. bought new tires, new oils, used plugs, etc... i basically did nothing. And Primera did very well.

That evo was super lucky... stuff like that would never pass in the states. Too many lawyers and too much of a nanny state.

I am still very impressed and would love to stage rally like that in my rallycross SE-R. It would never happen in the USA though.

Great result for a mostly stock car! Jagy. Where in Europe would you say would be the best place to look for an AWD Primera? I wouldn't mind shipping over a rust free AWD P10 with the SR20DE and a five speed transmission.

TrackJunky82: All AWD P10 came from Switzerland from what i know. Its hard to get AWD P10, but its possible. Not sure about rust free chassis after that long time...
Best place to look would be Schwitzerland, Germany and north countries like Sweden, Denmark, etc.

Btw. i still have this car. It wasnt moved from the end of the winter. Its sad... but i dont have time and money right now to do some need repairs. Will see, i hope i will do some recover one day as its rare and fun car.
