Wheel pron: 15X10s and 275s
15X10 REAL wheels and 275 Hoosiers:

Borrowed these for test fitting (of course wasn't delusional enough to check for rear fitment). It looks like the bumper cover just in front of the wheel would need to be sliced maybe an inch near the bottom, but that should be the only trimming necessary. The splash shield would just get naturally worn away behind the tire. At my ride height, I don't think they would touch the fender above the tire, but maybe a small slice just to be safe.

REALs are fairly light and cheap (I bought a set of 16X10s for my Firebird a few years ago new for under $1,000 -- they were around 15 lbs apiece).

I'd like to test these against 13X10s with 255s on an actual autocross course to see which is faster. Lighter, smaller diameter tire faster than a wider tire?

This is for my '92 Sentra SE-R that I'm running in FSP. I picked up the transmission (with Quaife inside) from one of my old cars this weekend, too. Hopefully should have the car reasonably set up by September for the Solo Nationals.

Awesome. Someone needs to set up a SE-R for FSP. Unfortunately, I haven't had the money to do it even halfway right. I have run my SE-R at a few regional events, though.

However, I'll be there with you at Nationals co-driving a FSP Neon on 275 Hoosiers. The enemy! The car is as reliable as...well, a Neon, but it's fast, fun, and suits my driving style.

275 A6's are THE tire to have. I've driven the 275-shod Neon (all four corners) on Blytheville concrete, and on a few asphalt sites. Don't settle for anything less, even if it's more unsprung weight. If it fits on a B13, do it.

Maybe think about 275/35-15's up front, and 255/40-13 in back. The 13" rear tires will come to temp more quickly than would 15's, and hopefully counteract the narrower width and difference in stagger.

Pat, you ever get some seat time with this setup?

I'm kind of surprised that in a field of 30 FSP entrants at Nationals, only four are in Neons (i.e. two ACRs, co-driven) and zero in B13s.

I'm hoping for a trophy. That would be nice.
