very nice build man, i cant wait to see what this motor makes as i have had thoughts of something very similiar.

my i recommend you clean, scuff, clean, tape off, prime and pain the bay. itll put a big smile on your face every time you pop the hood plus the motors is out why not.

stratton.

Hit a minor snag with the PS manual rack install today. I neglected to research, and I need to purchase a knuckle u joint, and tie rod ends for a manual rack, but otherwise the engine is still scheduled for start up saturday!

What's your ball park figure? Must be circa 175whp?

that seemed to be around what people have estimated this setup will put out.
Nissan is overniting the steering knuckle joint I need, so everything is still looking good for saturday!

7950 rpm using a jwt ecu. If I wanted the red line higher then that, they said that all they can do is remove it completely then I'd have to get an MSD system or something to set the rev limit.

It started!!!!

That thing sounds badass turning over. Movie and sound clips to come soon!

Hit a couple snags though,
The clutch cable is way too long, (I have a ga16 cable to put in, and am getting the reducer mod),
and the thermostat wouldn't open (a brand new stant thermo at that). So I am going back up their monday with a thermostat and the clutch cable to finish it up.

I am so excited!
