sr20de compession
I tested my brothers compression on his fwd sr20de and it reads 120,120,120,120 all across is that too low?

Doesnt sound like it was done correctly. Those numbers are way too even to be that low. Warm engine, throttle open... Make sure you are doing it properly.

If your using a cheap gauge and had the throttle shut those #s are spot on. When comp testing with a cheapo tester focus more on the difference between cylinders. It is very rare to have all four cylinders go bad/ loose comp at the same time and level. If the the car is running fine and has no miss fires, smoking or oil dipstick is not popping out then chances are your good to go.

Don't get too caught up on the value of the numbers. They're all within 10% you're good. Very unlikely that a motor is leaking compression dead evenly on all four.
