Noname Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator?
Hi!
After some intense googling and forum searching, I've come to the conclusion that I need a adjustable fuel pressure regulator to accomodate for my Walbro 255 install.

The Nismo one seems to have climbed in price due to the drifttax, so that option seems abit to pricey, and the other option I've now considered is a universal one with an adapter

Has anyone here had any experience with these noname fprs? It's kinda silly that you can buy like 5 of these for the price of a nismo one!

Opinions?

Hi!
You've come to the wrong conclusion.

Did your searching find this recent thread?

Yes, I read that thread, but all my colleagues tells me that I should get an adjustable FPR? Or it will run rich due to the extra 1bar pressure increase? Doesn't this apply to SR20's?

So you're basically saying, its safe to use a Walbro 255 with stock fpr, stock injectors, stock ECU (both DE and VE)

Won't the emissions be higher at idle then?

This is all you need to know; from the other thread that you apparently read, disregarded, and then refuse to post in:

I'm sorry for being a bad forum member, than you for guiding me I'll stay clear from the adj fprs then

Still, got a wideband incoming, would be interesting to see how much a difference the extra idle pressure affects the AFRs, might just hold out with the Walbro install untill i got the wideband hooked up.

Again, thanks BenFenner!

I like your new plan.

I just want to point out the OTHER obvious here. That setup would've only worked if you plan on running 10psi or less lol.

I ran an ebay FPR on my N/A setup as well as boosted setup, never had an issue.
I know I am probably one of the few exceptions tho, I know multiple people that had problems with the ebay FPR.

And as was said yes, you can run the stock FPR with the walbro 255, I ran like this for a year with no problems at all, then installed the ebay FPR
