Thread: Sr oil pumps

Got another race block back today, i gave the engine shop the front cover to skim with the block but my engine guy said the pump gears were stuffed. No worries as i have 5-6 other pumps at home. But when i stripped a couple the cover thats been machined takes a 81x8mm outer pump gear and all the other ones i have take 77x10mm gears......

Its not a biggie and i will just clean up another cover and hand file it to suit the block but im at a loss as to where this 81x8mm pump even came from, its come out of our stash of bits so it has to be a p10 or u13 one. are the sr18 ones smaller or something?

I know its not VE or Gti-r and im pretty sure its not S14 ....... any ideas
