Sr20 into a 04-06 1.8s base sentra
Now i been looking at some Sr20de and ve pages and vids and most of them do have me brain storming some things up together and i beleive this will help me out.
1) Sr20de motor/tranny
2) Sr20ve pistons/rods/bearing
3) Sr20de head studs
4) Sr20ve head
5) high performance gaskets
6) Ve fuel rail an injectors
7) Ve internal parts(Tranny)
8) PnP heads and mani
9) 2.5" exhaust work
10) De or Ve pulley's
11) Sr20ve Cams
12) Sr20ve oil pan
13) Ecu 20ve(if this dont work i will have to go wit de ecu from the 01 model)- so that the windows and everthing can work well wit it. Dude on B15u done proved it.
14) Mounts will be coming out of the car that swap came out of too.
Now thats just the some of what I have in mine of the parts i have in mind of getting but dealing wit the block. If things look well inside the walls, I will just clean them up real good and us that tool(Which i forgot what it was call), but it like sand down the walls just enough so that nothing wont chip or strach the walls to the point the motor will blow. But if theres problems wit the block, I will just send it off to the machine shop so that it can be right. Also i just might open up the oil wholes in the block so that the block and others can get the oil alil more quicker. I done seen how those boys on Horsepower Tv did a build on a budget, sand down the head their self, sand the walls down wit that tool attached to an hand drill, gave the block a good bath, scotch bright the piston down, and etc. So Im trying to put everything together, which I wanna put like 1200ish+ into the swap at my boy shop, 400 or so for him to swap out motor/tranny, and the galor .
So guys what do u think about this set up and like i said before Im trying to crawl before i walk if u get what Im talking about.

Dude Im not here to be like a nob or anything, but i can see from ur post that u wanna be a alil jerk about it. BUTTTTTTTTTT from what u have read Im thinkin about do one of the two and u make it seems like i dont know what Im talkin about. My big plan is to get the De, mate it wit the ve, cause the ve pushes 180ish to the wheels and the DE 140. So all in all Im pushin towards the De and just alil Ve parts to it to have a good start. lil by lil I will have it done though. I just wanted to know from other true sr20 tuners on here is this a good start for me and what else i could do.

Plus there arent many Ve around mostly De around my area. So why not take the De, still use some of its parts and order some of the Ve parts and go from there.

Dude install a de first then once thats running perfect with no issues. Then swap the ve short block/ecu. The sr swap in a b15 is rough..... especially with a 04-06.

Why are you still rocking with fossils ? I would swap a QR25 in that bitch and call it a day...That is the future of the FWD market regardless of what anyone is saying..... might as well get a jump on things.

Freak those Qr25, i have gotten info and other thing about the Qr25 and they are slow. They cant even get the b15 chassi to get up and go like the sr and Vq swap. So mainly in all Knowdelge everyone that drives or dont drives a sentra says they are SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Everyone can look on every Sentra fourms and see that lots of ppl say that they are slow. Compare the sr wit all the Qr swaps out there. The Infinti, Altima, and the 240 can and will pit the WAMMY on us low class Qr and Qg base sentra.
So all in all Im goin wit the Sr20de and doin alil swtichin, I might change up the De block wit a Ve block if need but those mods ^^^ top i listed will or might be done to it. So Im still lookin and deciding on what else Im goin to do to it.

Well this dude on B15u done a sr swap in his 04-06 sentra and the only issue he had was the sr ecu wouldnt let him operate the windows, dome lights, and locks. But now he done alil changes and now every thing workin fine now. The only thing he did is buy the motor, tranny, ecu, and the motor/tranny mounts off the origina sr20 car and swap that over to his. So thats what I might have to do, butttt Im goin to do an complete over haul on it. Clean it, PnP, and etc.

I'm gathering parts for a ve 6 speed swap in my 1.8. I don't have much definite info until I actually do it, but if you have any questions I could help.
