How high is your idle set? What cam gears are you running?

Mine lope like crazy! I idle at 800-1000 and they are set at +2/-2. At 0/0 they sounded and performed like stock. At these settings they make a LOT more torque, and according to my neighbor "I didn't know Sentras had V8's".

Do you have adjustable cam gears? I know that did it for my car. I initially set them at 0/0 and through tuning found more torque at +2/-2. When we were done, it was obviously more PO'd than before =) I don't know what else would do it other than changing the cam timing.

Yeah, lower the idle. You wont get much of a lope at 1200 rpm, lol. When i had mine set to 800-900 rpm, they loped pretty good and that was at 0,0 on the gears. C2's should definitely have a lope if your idle is low enough.

Yeah, lower the idle like everyone else and/or adjust your cam gears like everyone is saying. I have s4's and I idle at 1100 since my JWT ecu is programmed to hide the cams. When I put the car in timing mode, it idles at 900 rpm and you can hear the cams then, but once I'm out of timing mode, the ecu forces the idle up to 1100 no matter what. You can turn down your idle by putting the car in timing mode and adjusting the idle screw on the manifold.
