Thread: New Exhaust Finally Here

Finally got my OBX Header on and now my cat-back will be going on tomorrow! Ordered from MandrelExhaustSystems.com. I know I know...shoulda ordered the VRS but I went the cheaper way out. 2.5in with a Magnaflow muffler. Pics and video clip will be coming this weekend.

Ull love the obx, I have one on my SEL. Some stuff had to be modified (egr) but I like the size, gives good bot end.

I believe i will like it too. Broke my old egr tube getting it off the factory manifold. $50 from the dealership! And now i broke a stud on the cat and will have to drill it out before new exhaust goes on..geez! Ha

Just curious what did you pay from Mandrel? Last time I checked, I beat there prices.

To Be honest..Im dumb and didnt do my research first. :/ The fitment wasnt the best...but it works i suppose. I should apologize for not supporting a fellow member. But I have learned my lesson. Rookie mistake.

did you go with a round muffler instead of an oval? and what about a resonator?

Yes, with the OBX header, the EGR is a PAIN IN THE ASS. You can either rip off the old one with vice grips and get a new one from the dealer, or block off the hoses and get th EGR plug taper.
