Thread: Ssac header leak

Header install went well, except for the egr pipe. That's where I plugged the opening on the header. Feels good, definitely feel the extra kick 4500-7500.

Since I fixed it, and got the pipe in.. It has the notorious ssac exhaust clicking leak. There is not much fuss about the leak, I mean you guys enjoy it? I know it bugs the fak outta me.

Not only that, the extra kick in the butt is gone, vanished, disappeared adiosed, u guys get the point. What the shit, ya know? Is the leak the culprit of power loss? Thanks

you prolly just got used to the extra HUMPFFF the car developed. i doubt it is gone, you just dont feel it anymore

Proabably, but I fixed it only few days after. This leak seems to be releasing quite a bit of exhaust air out. I smell it and it's louder than a small leak

where is the leak at? i have an ssac

I had the EGR plug welded on mine at a local muffler shop for around $5-$10.

almost like a bypass where it leaks. Barn I gotta keep the egr for emissions

How many quarters? 3?

you can always try to cheat the test or get a "hookup" on your smog. But it will be a little costly (Based off what I've paid in CA)
