jmr header repair?




i just picked up a jmr header this weekend and the bottom tubes are a little bent but do not leak. is there anyone in n.y who can fix it or should i just leave it the way it is?

Holy shit those are fucked up. Idk man. Need a good amount of work to repair that. I would run an SSAC before running that thing crushed like that.

Damn. Did you do this yourself? Or did you buy it like that? If you bought it, how much did you pick it up for?

That is fucked up for sure, but definitely fixable. Only 2 of the 4 appear to be dented and need to be cut out and replaced. If you buy the new pipe yourself I don't see why a decent welder couldn't make this useable again?

And who the hell is runnin around Long Island so slammed that you would destroy an $800 header to look cool. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, that's a fact.

That can be fixed if you weld it in a way it can’t be disconnected from the back half. Buy the correct size SS piping and i will send you to a guy in LI that does my welding
