Running on 2 cyl ??!
Okay so i have An Nx2000 with a highport sr20. Im running a short ram intake, and a 2 1\4 inch catback {with a test Pipe and no Cat).

I just recently pulled the fuel rail and replaced all the injector O rings and other little gasket pieces to fix a fuel leak i was having. While doing that i also replaced all spark plugs, and i have a NGK plug wires and a new distributor cap and rotor that was replaced about 3 months ago.

But my problem is its back firing and running crazy rich with whit smoke coming out the muffler at idle :\, and serious loss of power, with tons of back fire on acceleration and deceleration. to try to figure it out i pulled each fuel injector harness while running and on cly 3 and 4 nothing happened! so does that mean they arent running?
How could i fix this?

That is exactly what my 91 NX2000 was doing when I first towed it home from Dallas. Luckily I had 4 fuel injectos laying around from my 93 SER. I swapped the two out and everything has been fine since.

Did you put the plug wires back the right way in the correct firing order?

+1

It is often the simplest explanation when it comes to mechanics

but not always

pull the fuel rail again but leave everything plugged in and hooked up, turn the car to "on" so the fuel pump runs if fuel starts pissing out the sides of the injectors you messed up putting the o-rings in and are flooding the cylinder(s)

while it is out you can also check to see how the injectors are squirting by removing the distributor and spinning it with everything hooked up and the car on. be careful because you will get spark also.

Start with the simplest and work your way from there
