phantom grip
Went to the strip the other night and realized my phantom grip isnt locking up my front wheel. Possible causes?

I dont think the phantom grip wears out like that. I know the OEM LSD in the B13's uses that viscous fluid shit that wears out after a while and the phontom grip is some disc plate thingy that installs in between the gears somewhere in the tranny. Improper installation maybe? Or maybe it was never even installed lol who did the install for you?

A lot of people have called them Phantom Slip LSD. Hopefully its something stupid though. The stock LSD's suck.

Phantom grips aren't great in non-LSD transmissions, but in a VLSD they are a decent addition.

Something tells me it needs to be installed tighter. You want the strongest springs, and you want to use a vise/press to squeeze it enough to install it. You shouldn't be installing it by hand or anything. Also you'll want to make sure to use fluid that's not too slippery or anything. Redline MT-90 boi.

Hopefully i get it fixed befor i hit the strip tomorrow night. Im running a 3.3 sec 60 foot yet a 7 sec 330..... Ugh
