Thread: new car... exhaust ideas ???

wanting to put a exhaust kit on my p10. something to help with power but now loud. any ideas ?

Buy a welder and make your own, you can play around with resonators and such and make it sound how you want. Otherwise you are paying the same money (just with a little less work) for "whatever quality" on ebay, that may or may not sound like a chain saw in a coffee can.

def. cant afford a welder right now. lol do they make anything from cat back thats some what quiet ?

I've got a B13, but used this:

When you start clicking the links, you can change from B14, to B13, to P-whatever. Most of the information in that link will then be applicable to your ride. It helped me a bunch on picking out my exhaust components.

Once I got the components and parts, my mechanic bolted it on, fiddled with it a bit to get it right, and it has been excellent ever since.
