ebay header?
tax refund is on the way, and i figured that since im replacing a o2 sensor, i might as well get a header too.

i know that most of these ebay headers are just remakes of the ssac 2.5 which come from the hotshot design. my question is, do they have an egr bung? i have no idea.

example of that im talking about : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-96-97-98-99-NISSAN-SENTRA-200SX-SE-R-SER-2-0L-HEADER_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33630QQihZ009QQitemZ190208760910QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

also, i remember a thread on here with people buying the 105 shipped header from ebay, but there are no stories reguarding how install went or any problems that have come up.

cliffs

want to know what people have thought about these ebay cheap headers

any problems during installation or anything or?

what have people thought about them.

lmk, before i shell out money for it.

Keep away from that header, thats not the "SSAC" rip off.

BTW, make sure you get a 4-Wire O2 sensor, look at this thread.

Here is one Contact the seller to make sure it is not 2", but 2.5".

I believe someone said that 2.5" is Outer Diameter, but I believe my SSAC one is 2.5" Inner Diameter.

Look at this thread, it should have some good information

Shouldn't, unless your guy's engine bay is a bit different. I believe G20's have no issue with the SSAC either.

Hey, while you're replacing the manifold, you may as well get a turbo

Sorry the way you worded that is just hilarious because most good headers cost waay more than an 02 sensor

Those ebay ones almost certainly have the EGR bungs.. you can see them in the picture at the top and bottom of the header. Your most likely problem is that it will move your 02 sensor wires very close to the radiator fan, but I got around that issue with a zip tie. The only other thing I would be worried about is the manufacturing quality. Cheap products may have copied the R&D from expensive originals, but they rarely bother with the quality aspect.

But for such a low price that would have to be expected anyway. I would personally go for a name brand header.

This list may actually be outdated now it's about 4 or 5 months old but you can find decent headers in between expensive and cheap ass ebay out there:
