Time to search. For your swap questions I suggest www.zilvia.com, FreshAlloy.com: The Destination for Nissan Enthusiasts, and google. Swapping an SR20 into an S-chassis has been done a few times before and the info is out there.

Andreas is here on the forum, not exactly hard to find. Search members.

Edit: I saw your other post asking about the wheels. No, they won't fit. Don't take this the wrong way, but if you don't even know the bolt pattern for the wheels on your own car, it's time to start researching and doing a LOT of reading.

Finally, capitalization, punctuation, and good grammar are your friends. Seriously, we're pretty decent folks here (unlike Zilvia, where you'd be hardcore flamed for a thread like this) but the above is just hard to read.

I just wanted to correct the link to Zilvia, it's actually Zilvia.net - The Original Nissan 240sx & Z Car Community Forums.

Also, swapping in a N/A RWD SR20DE into a 240SX (S-chassis) is an exercise in uselessness. If you swap in an SR20 it will be the turbo motor for sure.

You should seriously consider the option of turbo-ing the KA24DE engine you already have if it is the DOHC model. If not, buy a DOHC KA24DE (for around $600) and swap that in and then turbo it.

The KA24DE is an extremely capable motor. Not many realize that it's valve train is superior (cam-on-bucket instead of using rocker arms like the SR20), it has a block girdle just the like SR20, the DOHC blocks come with oil squirters, etc. etc.

It's an extremely attractive starting point with more and more aftermarket support. There's no way you'd catch me swapping a SR20DET into an S-chassis.

Not true. You can swap in an NA SR, get the turbo stuff you need from someone upgrading their SR20DET (manifold, turbo, outlet, injectors), and run it off a Calum-tuned or similar ECU for a lot cheaper than properly doing an SR20DET swap. If I were doing this now, that's the way I'd go.

Turbo KA is also a much more viable option than it was even a couple years ago, at least with the DOHC. I still say the single cam KA is crap, no matter what, but that's just my opinion.
