Need help w/sr20det
Hello. I am new with 240, well my friend give me a 1996 240sx-se with an sr20det swap that he never got to turn on well today i finish putting all the Intercooler pipe. the fuel pump is working but the ecu light is not on the car crank and fuel is working but won't turn on. there is a couple of plugs that does't plug no where. if anyone can help me i will appreciate or if there is someone close from me i will pay for any help. i forgot, yes i check all the fuses and they are good. the only thing is that the ecu light is not on and injector provably are noy firing. thankss

what about the coil packs, are they grounded properly? was the wire harness done right?

Who did his harness? Redtop/blktop S13? S14 SR20DET?

like i say i got it from a friend and don't know nothing about 240 . i will check for ground.well one time i put some gas on the tb and it turn on for like two second. i will check for spark and ground when i get out from work.thank

what i know about the harness is that he pay a lot of money for it i think he got it from password jdm. and the motor is a blktop sr20det from engine depot.

S13 or S14 blk top? If the harness is done right check the engine codes.

97-98 s14 sr20det blk top. how do i check for engine codes ,plus check engine light is not on. thank

If it fired when you spray the carburetor cleaner in, I think your fuel lines are switched around. That is what I'd do first and foremost as it does sound like you do have fuel and spark.

And don't worry about the check engine light. It doesn't always light up.

Thanks for the info. i will check it when i get out of work. we are getting some snow now.

sounds right too, alot of people cross the fuel lines on swaps when it comes to sr20's
