Ka24de Swap?
I have a 2001 altima ka24de its pretty much brand new very low KM runs really strong with lots of boltons but I sadly totaled my altima. I'm considering getting a 200sx ser because I like the fact that they weigh around 2600lbs. Wondering if anyone ever put a ka in there sentra or 200sx? I know very few people have put in sr's in the altima.

I really like the KA24de I have driven a sr20 powered b13 with boltons and it just didn't feel like it had any torque.

I figure my KA makes arround 160whp/150tq with my boltons that would be pretty fun in a 2600 pound car. It's not to hard to get the ka up to 200whp.

Anything is possible. But its not a direct bolt in swap if thats what you are looking for.

it would probably be possible, but hard to fit. and with the custom work ahead of you, you may be better off boosting the sr20de in the se-r and you'll end up with even more tq. Just my opinion.

Remembering the RWD 240 will make overall less HP to the wheels than a FWD because of drivetrain losses .... FWD KA would make a bit more ....

Am I saying it would be worth all of the effort to swap the SR for a KA .... No way ... The small power gains isnt worth the effort ... Yea, Mod for Mod the KA will always make more HP than the SR ... but not enough to make a huge swap worth it !!

The only reason KA will make more power is because it is 2.4L over 2.0L.

But for being .4 litters it only has 10 more flywheel horsepower.

Get an SE-R,

SSAC Header 2.5" Down pipe, 2.5" cat back, JWT Pop charger, or Injen/AEM CAI, 91 Intake Cam, Pulleys 2 set, 8lb Fidanza Flywheel, some new BKR6E spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor rotor head, cap.

The car will be pretty fast, torque should be pretty descent.

Or you can get a T25 and make over 200 WHP, and torque around there
