Cruise control not working
Went for a drive today and I find that the cruise control no longer works. I can push the switch and it lights up green, but when I push the button to set the cruise, nothing. What the problem is? Help please. I miss my cruise control

switches on the pedal would be the first place I looked...you know the rubber bumpers fall out of the pedal.

Those round black things? Those are still there.

even if they are there, the switch can still be out. on my car the switch was just bad so i ran a wire in between it and now its good. Also check the vacuum hose

I checked the vacuum hose the other day and it was cracked. It was the hose that plugs into that black circle thing. Haven't tested to see if that was the problem though. Need to replace that hose and go for a drive.

Yeah that will cause it to not work however it just wont hold the speed.. so if you are trying to set it and it doesnt even attempt to turn on it might be the switch...

Thanks eggman and 92Sentra for helping me out with this. It has to be the switch then. When I push the button on the steering wheel to set the cruise, nothing. So where is this switch located? Behind the brake peddle?

Look under there they are a bitch to get to,but you can test them with a meter...and they could just be out of adjustment.
I think theres 3 total one on the brake and 2 on the clutch one on the clutch deactivates the cruise when you start to push the clutch.....the other is for when you push the clutch in to start the car.
On the brake I think one switch does both the brakelights and the cruise cancel, but it might be 2 separate ones. Its been a while...lol
Not only can they be out of adjustment, but I have had the "dick" break off on the switch(for lack of better term)LOL
When you look under there and work the pedals by hand you will be able to see what they should be doing and make adjustments and test them out.

I have some spares if it is a switch..LMK I will send you one
