Time to freshen up the suspension and brakes
I have been studying many of the suspension topics on the forum. It's all very confusing. I'm hoping for a little advice.

The items I've already made up my mind on. Polyurethane everything. X-brace. Strut tower braces. Upgrading front brakes to NX2000 with cross drilled rotors. Upgrading rear discs to cross drilled rotors. Using Hawk ceramic pads. Was thinking a Maxima master cylinder for increased volume. This should be sufficient for a street car.

1. The Ground Control coilover kits. If I go either the KYB AGX or GR2 struts and shocks, are the kits specific to the struts and shocks or can I later upgrade to Koni's and still use the same kits? Also what is everyone's opinion on the KYB's?

2. Sway bars. Was thinking Whiteline. Opinions? Other suggestions on sway bars?

Any other suggestions on parts?

Want to do this once.

Time to freshen up the suspension and brakes
Just a little left out information. The car is a 95 200sx. Also just noticed that Whiteline doesn't offer a front sway bar for the B14. Ughhhh

people seem to love the kyb's, i personally run tien basics. i love them, but they are more pricey. as for sway bars, progressive is the way to go.

Any suggestions on spring rates when I order my GC kit?

Whatever your body can withstand.

A heavier front sway bar will cause more understeer. I have AGX's with Hyperco springs and run the stock front bar. Some people run without it. I have a Progress rear bar set on full stiff.
While you are at the brakes, install a set of stainless steel brake lines (hoses).

I have the Ground Control coilover sleeves with AGX's, on the car for over 100,000km now. It's very nice to have the simple ride height adjustment, choose your own spring rate for how stiff you want the car. Keep in mind KYB won't warranty the struts for leaks though if you're lowering the car (my 2 front's started leaking around 80,000km and replaced them, my driver rear just started leaking about 100,000km). Also, each time the car goes up on a hoist you need to re-align the springs when setting down on the ground.

And note, don't over tighten the GC sleeves, just snug, or else the screw may break on you (1 of mine broke and I had to drill it out)
