brake light on dash...
So I was on my way to work a few minutes ago and the brake indicator light in the cluster comes on... brakes are working fine, have a good pressure in the pedal, fluid is filled, and the e-brake is all the way down... any ideas why this popped up? it happene when I passed someone on the highway...

I see a couple possibilities:

-perhaps a rear brake caliper is seized (so you don't notice it much driving)

-your alternator and/or belt is on its way out and for some reason the battery light isn't coming on too, maybe the bulb is burnt out

Check to see if your brake lights stay on all the time if they do it may just be the little rubber thingie on the pedal. They are super cheap and still available from Nissan.

check for gum wrappers or other debris that may have fallen in the opening of your e-brake handle. This happened to me and caused my light to come on.
